Here are the measurements that we at Ripley Custom Shirtmakers need to fabricate your shirt.
Alternatively, you can send us one of your existing comfortable shirts and we will duplicate its size. Please let us know if your new shirt should have longer tails, larger neck, shorter sleeves, etc., than the shirt that you send.
Yoke
- Take yoke measurement from edge of shoulder to edge of shoulder across back of A.
Chest
- Measure around the body at B. Take measurement snug. Make no allowances.
Waist
- Measure around the body at C. Take measurement snug. Make no allowances.
Neck
- To measure the neck open collar and place tape around neck where collar would rest. Take a loose measurement at this point for a comfortable fit. This gives the figure you should enter on the order form as "Neck."
- Note: The collars on new shirts will measure about 1/4" larger than ordered when they are received. After the shirts are laundered, the collars should shrink to the correct size.
Sleeve
- Measure sleeve length from center of the collar in the back, across the point of the shoulder, down the arm to point desired on wrist (measurement D).
Height & Weight
- Both of these are very important and should be shown on the order.
